Honor has introduced the Honor Win, a dedicated compact gaming tablet featuring an 8.4 inch OLED display running at a record 240 Hz. The device pairs an active 15000 RPM cooling fan with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and a 10000 mAh battery. Preorders are open in China starting at 4199 yuan ($629).
The screen measures 8.4 inches diagonally with a resolution of 2304x1440 and peak brightness hitting 6000 nits. Refresh rates scale dynamically across 60, 90, 120, 165, 185, and 240 Hz steps, setting a new benchmark for mobile screens. Touch polling runs at 480 Hz with instantaneous spikes reaching 5000 Hz for low latency response.
Honor chose the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor with clock speeds reaching 4.6 GHz. Memory configurations include 12GB or 16GB of RAM alongside 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. Thermal management relies on a high speed internal fan spinning up to 15000 revolutions per minute, paired with a dual layer vapor chamber and customizable RGB lighting.
The slim frame measures 6.1 millimeters thick and weighs 315 grams while holding a 10000 mAh battery. Honor rates the cell for up to 7 hours of continuous gaming in MOBA titles. Charging hits 66W via cable, and the device supports 27W reverse wired charging to power external accessories.
Hardware additions include dual linear vibration motors for directional haptic feedback, a wireless stability system, and a built in emulator to run PC games. In China, preorder pricing starts at 4199 yuan ($629) for the 12GB memory and 256GB storage model, while the 16GB memory and 512GB storage version costs 5199 yuan ($779).
