Honor has launched the Win2, a dedicated gaming smartphone equipped with dual cooling turbines and an 185 Hz OLED display. The handset runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen6 processor paired with a massive 10100 mAh battery. The device is now on sale in China starting at 5499 yuan, while international rollout details remain unconfirmed.
Honor relies on 2 internal turbines to manage operating temperatures under sustained gaming loads. These fans spin up to 31000 RPM across 4 selectable speed settings to pull heat away from the silicon, screen, frame, and back panel. Despite the open air vents required for this cooling setup, the phone carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications against dust and high pressure water ingress.
The 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen6 processor clocks up to 5.01 GHz and pairs with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra memory and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The front panel holds a flat 6.89 inch OLED screen running at 3104x1440 resolution with a peak brightness rating of 10000 nits. The panel scales up to 185 Hz, supporting native 144, 165, and 185 Hz modes across more than 40 mobile titles. Touch response tracks at a 5000 Hz instantaneous rate and 520 Hz across 10 fingers simultaneously, supplemented by an 800 Hz internal gyroscope for motion aiming.
A 10100 mAh silicon carbon battery delivers power, supporting 100W wired, 80W wireless, and 27W reverse wireless charging, along with a bypass mode to run directly off wall power during matches. Physical side triggers allow custom inputs for shooting or aiming with adjustable sensitivity levels. Network connectivity uses LINK Turbo X to bond Wi Fi, cellular, and 2 separate 5G connections at once. The chassis includes stereo speakers with 18 cubic millimeter acoustic chambers and a USB 3.2 Type C port capable of pushing 4K video at 60 Hz to external monitors.
The rear camera array uses a 200 MP primary sensor measuring 1/1.4 inch with CIPA 7.0 optical image stabilization and 4x lossless zoom, alongside a 12 MP ultrawide lens. Selfies use a 50 MP front camera capable of 4K video recording. China pricing starts at 5499 yuan ($823) for 12/256GB, moving to 5799 yuan ($868) for 16/256GB, 6299 yuan ($943) for 12/512GB, 6999 yuan ($1048) for 16/512GB, and 7999 yuan ($1198) for the top 16GB RAM and 1TB storage model.
