Lexar has released the Professional SILVER GO microSDXC card, delivering transfer speeds up to 250MB/s for handheld consoles, drones, and action cameras. The card carries a V30 speed rating to handle continuous 4K video recording at 60 frames per second. Retail units are now available on Amazon starting at $34.99 for the 64GB capacity.
The hardware targets fast data handling across portable electronics. Read speeds reach up to 250MB/s while write speeds top out at 180MB/s when paired with the official Lexar card reader. The V30 video rating ensures steady 4K 60fps capture and sustained rapid burst photo shooting. Supported devices include handheld consoles like the Nintendo Switch and Steam Deck, as well as action cameras and drones from DJI, GoPro, and Insta360.
Lexar brand marketing director Lizette Lynch emphasized the performance demands of mobile creators during the announcement.
Gamers and creators are pushing their hardware harder than ever, from massive game libraries to hours of 4K footage. We designed the Lexar SILVER GO so their storage is never the thing holding them back.
Storage options span 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. Physical protections include IPX7 water resistance alongside defenses against drops, shocks, vibrations, X ray exposure, magnetic fields, and temperature extremes. Lexar provides access to its software tool to help users recover accidentally deleted media files and covers the hardware with a limited lifetime warranty.
Pricing on Amazon starts at $34.99 for the 64GB model. The 128GB version costs $54.99, the 256GB card retails for $84.99, and the top capacity 512GB edition sells for $144.99.
