Honor Magic V6 and MagicPad 4 Unveiled at MWC 2026
Honor has officially launched its latest hardware lineup at MWC 2026, led by the Magic V6 foldable and the MagicPad 4 tablet. The Magic V6 foldable design changes through its new design approach which prioritizes battery life and product durability instead of the industry standard which emphasized making products as thin as possible. Both devices use the latest silicon carbon battery technology combined with Snapdragon 8 series chipsets.
Honor Magic V6 Hardware and Battery Breakthroughs
The Magic V6 shows its main advantage through its 6,660 mAh silicon carbon battery. The capacity of this product exceeds all folding competitors which exist in the market today. The device supports 80W wired and 66W wireless charging through its high density Si C design which contains 25% silicon content and powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
The Magic V6 maintains its slim profile despite having a large battery. The white model measures 8.7mm when folded and 4mm when unfolded, weighing 219 grams. The other color variants have a folded measurement of 9mm. The durability improvements include
- Ingress Protection: The first foldable to achieve both IP68 and IP69 ratings.
- Super Steel Hinge: Rated for 500,000 folds using high strength commercial steel.
The display shield protects its exterior screen through silicon nitride based NanoCrystal Shield glass which contains 5,600 coating layers that safeguard against impacts and scratches.
The internal screen is a 7.95 inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display which features a crease depth reduction of 44% and a refresh rate that changes between 120Hz. The device reaches a maximum brightness of 5,000 nits in local areas. The cover display has a 6.52 inch size which uses LTPO technology and can achieve a peak brightness of 6,000 nits.
The camera system includes a 50MP main sensor (f/1.6, OIS), a 64MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide sensor. Both screens inside and outside the device contain 20MP cameras for taking selfies.
The Magic V6 uses MagicOS 10 as its new operating system because it runs on Android 16. The main purpose of this update focuses on making Apple hardware compatible with all platforms. Through Honor Connect, users can
- The Magic V6 can share notifications with iPhone and iPad devices through a two way syncing system.
- Users can wirelessly transfer files between Mac computers and their iPhone devices.
- Users can use the foldable's main 7.95 inch screen as a secondary display for a Mac.
Honor Magic V4
The MagicPad 4 tablet reaches unprecedented thinness by measuring only 4.8mm in thickness. The tablet marks its first release through the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset while it has a screen size of 12.3 inches.
In the UK, the MagicPad 4 starts at £600 for the 12GB/256GB model and £700 for the 16GB/512GB version. Early-bird discounts and accessory bundles are available throughout March 2026:
